Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American photographer and journalist. She has been reporting for over 45 years, focusing on human suffering in war zones and natural disasters. Curry was a journalist in war zones like Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ann Curry (born on November 19th, 1956 in the city of Agana) was an American anchor, reporter on television as well as a journalist. Ashland was her final high school. In Medford, she started her broadcasting career with KTVL Channel 10 as an intern. At the age 22 she was the first reporter to be female at KTVL. In Portland, Oregon she was appointed anchor as well as a reporter for KGW NBC's affiliate. Four years later she moved to Los Angeles as a reporter for KCBS-TV. She received the award of two Emmy Awards during the six years that she worked for this station.
